The most inconsistent actor alive, Nicolas Cage, is set to star as a reclusive writer who befriends a drifter with deadly consequences in a new thriller entitled BLACK BUTTERFLY. The Oscar-winning actor will feature alongside the German born actress Veronica Ferres (ADAM RESURRECTED) in the story that is based on the French television hit thriller PAPILLON NOIR.

Actor/director Brian Goodman, who turned his experiences growing up as a criminal in Boston into the Mark Ruffalo/Ethan Hawke film WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU will direct for German production company Bavariapool in what will be their first English-language feature.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
