After the controversial teaser poster kicked up such a fuss we now have at a look at the new more conventional poster for director David Fincher’s take on THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO. Fincher has stated the film will be a fresh take on Stieg Larssons best-seller as opposed to a remake of the original swedish trilogy that starred Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist.
Daniel Craig will star as crusading journalist Mikael Blomkvist alongside Rooney Mara as the now iconic character of Lisbeth Salander in the controversial first instalment of Larsson’s Millennium trilogy. The film also stars Christopher Plummer, Stellen Skarsgaard, Julian Sands and Robin Wright and is released 26th December 2011.
