More noticeable for appearing in the mega-hit TWILIGHT saga phenomenon and as the lead in big-budget actioner ABDUCTION, Taylor Lautner looks to be testing his acting chops with the indie crowd.
The young star, who runs his own production company, Quick Six with his father Dan, is currently in talks to appear in Gus Van Sant’s next project. At present the only known information is that it will be based on a non-fiction article that appeared in The New Yorker magazine
Lautner is said to want to work with the best directors and writers around the industry in order to hone his skills and gain more experience after his last film ABDUCTION tanked at the box-office. His next film is THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 1, which is released 18 November 2011.
