The North American poster for THE DARKEST HOUR has been released and undoubtedly plays on its Christmas season release with the giant headline ‘Survive The Holidays’. Although it’s not the best debut poster we’ve seen, there are elements of interest as the smoke funnels are full of orange electric, an invisible alien force maybe?
THE DARKEST HOUR finds five young people who are stranded in Moscow and fighting for their existence after an Alien attack. It’s written by newcomer Jon Spaihts who is also part of the PROMETHEUS, Ridley Scott re-launch and Leslie Bohem who recently found fame creating TAKEN. It stars Emile Hirsch (INTO THE WILD), Rachel Taylor (TRANSFORMERS), Olivia Thirlby (JUNO), Joel Kinnaman (THE KILLING: US) and Max Minghella (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) and is due for release January 13th.
