It may not be out until next June in the UK but we’ve got another class red band spot for Jonah Hill in THE SITTER. It’s looking like slapstick, kids on the rampage and quick one-liners are definitely the core of this but it also looks very funny.
It’s very loosely based on ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING that starred Elizabeth Shue back in 1987. Jonah Hill is a college student on suspension who is conned into babysitting for the kids who live next door, however…and so it goes…the night doesn’t turn out as he expected.
THE SITTER is directed by David Gordon Green (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS) and also stars Sam Rockwell, Ari Graynor and Method Man. Here’s your Red Band Spot:
