Todd Strauss-Schulson has only just had his stoner comedy sequel A VERY HAROLD AND KUMAR CHRISTMAS 3D released in the US but he has already lined up his next feature. Strauss-Schulson will helm comic-horror FINAL GIRLS for New Line Cinema. The project is being described as BACK TO THE FUTURE meets FRIDAY THE 13TH.
The plot will follow Max, the daughter of a former and recently deceased 80’s ‘Scream Queen’ who along with a few of her friends somehow gets transported into one of mothers famous horror hit movies. Together they must do battle and outwit the psycho-slasher and try to survive until the end credits.
