A New Glimpse Of Taylor Kitsch As John Carter Of Mars

Edger Rice Burroughs creation JOHN CARTER has gone through many false starts on his way to the big-screen. Eventually FINDING NEMO and WALL-E director Andrew Stanton was given the task at transferring the material in what will be his live-action debut.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE actor Taylor Kitsch will play the Civil War veteran transported to the red planet Mars to do battle with gigantic barbarians and massive marauding monsters. The latest image gives you more than a clue at what the character will be up against.

 

Joining Kitsch on the epic science-fiction actioner will be the impressive emsemble of Willem Dafoe, Dominic West, Lynn Collins, Bryan Cranston, Mark Strong, James Purefoy, Samantha Morton, Thomas Haden Church and Ciaran Hinds. The film is due in cinemas 9th March 2012.
