Paramount Pictures Unveils Centennial Logo

Paramount Pictures turns 100 next year, and to celebrate the momentous occasion, the studio has unveiled a new logo. Not dissimilar to its original logo, which was devised in 1916 and depicted a snow-topped mountain from the Wasatch range, the new emblem (seen above) will rear its head this year, attached to reels of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL.

Paramount will use the logo throughout 2012, and thereafter minus the 100th Anniversary title. The studio has enjoyed a successful century, bringing us the likes of BRAVEHEART, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and, um, RUGRATS IN PARIS: THE MOVIE.

See the new logo for yourself when the latest MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE arrives in cinemas on 21st December 2012, starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner.
