Every year, about this time, we start to reflect on the year that has come. and indeed almost gone. We look back at those movie high times, and indeed those face in your hands, really low times when you cannot believe the utter tosh that is unfolding before your very eyes on the screen in front of you (I’m looking at you NEW YEAR’S EVE). 2011 has been one of the best years for The Hollywood News, and I wanted to look back at the fan-bloody-tastic movie year that has come, and very nearly gone. A lot of these videos pop up on the Internet every year, but this is one that we have lovingly put together ourselves to celebrate the medium that we all adore… film. There are many like it, but this is our own (to quote the classic FULL METAL JACKET… almost). Featuring no less than 119 movies, all released in the UK in 2011, this is a very short film that we refer to as… The Hollywood News Presents… Thank You For The Movies.
