The 1980s undercover-cop-in-high-school drama series 21 JUMP STREET goes for the STARSKY AND HUTCH approach in this new action-comedy starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. The original show made a star of Johnny Depp and followed a special unit of cops who look young enough to pass as high-schoolers. These officers are then drafted in to go undercover to sniff out drug pushers and general criminals preying and taking advantage of the young and innocent.

The film is released 16th March 2012 and is directed by CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS’ Chris Miller and Phil Lord. A rumoured cameo by Depp has also been talked about.
