After days of pre-trailer teaser trailers, the official and first PROMETHEUS trailer was finally released yesterday and what a glorious creature she looks! A new incarnation of the original ALIEN trailer that in 1979 scared the public cold, we see so many echoes of the Alien world and despite director Ridley Scott playing down the whole ALIEN prequel talk, it’s obvious that his recent comments of “DNA” connection will be very prominant.
Anyway, enough about the possibles for just a moment, turn everything off, turn the sound up and enjoy the klaxon’s of suspense:
PROMETHEUS is set for a 1st June 2012 release and stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Noomi Rapace, Patrick Wilson, Rafe Spall and Guy Pearce and we can’t wait.
