Christina Hendricks In Talks For Sally Potter’s Sixties-Era Bomb

There is no doubt that Christina Hendricks would have made a great star in the 1960s. To add proof to opinion, the MAD MEN star is considering another movie set in that era.

Hendricks is in talks to take part in Sally Potter’s anti-nuclear movie, BOMB, which focuses on two teenage rebels, who become involved with the Ban the Bomb movement and the sexual revolution. If talks turn successful, Hendricks’ co-stars will include Elle Fanning and Alice Englart, as the two rebels, and Alessandro Nivola, while Annette Bening is also considering a part in the movie.

Audiences first heated up for Hendricks, and her hour-glass bombshell figure, in TV show MAD MEN. Following roles in movies such as DRIVE and I DON’T KNOW HOW SHE DOES IT have established her as a respected actress.

Producer Christopher Sheppard and Potter plan to shoot the film in London and on the South-East coast in February of next year.
