Demi Moore has joined the cast of the planned Linda Lovelace biopic, charting the life of the famous Deep Throat actress. Moore joins the film in a cameo role as feminist activist Gloria Steinem. Joining her also are Adam Brody and Eric Roberts in undisclosed roles, according to Variety.

The cast attached to this film is possitivly huge with names like Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Romeo Brown and possibly James Franco as Hugh Hefner in the frame.

The trade revealed more about Steinem.

Steinem founded Ms. Magazine, which published the infamous article “The Real Linda Lovelace,” in which Steinem discussed Linda’s relationship with her abusive pornographer husband Chuck Traynor, who she blamed for creating the myth that Linda “loved to be sexually used and humiliated.” When Lovelace announced her first memoir “Ordeal,” she was joined at the press conference by Steinem and other supportive members of the feminist group Women Against Pornography. Steinem later wrote the introduction for Lovelace’s 1986 memoir, “Out of Bondage.”

LOVELACE is based on Eric Danville’s biography “The Complete Linda Lovelace,” and is brought to the screen by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. The film follows Linda Boreman’s rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972’s “Deep Throat,” and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano. Amanda Seyfried is cast in the title role.

As well as LOVELACE, a rival pic called INFERNO: A LINDA LOVELACE STORY from writer/ director Matthew David Wilder with Malin Ackerman in the lead, is also in production.
