It was thought almost certain that the new sequel PIRANHA 3DD would be going straight to DVD but fans fear not, it has just be confirmed that the film will get a theatrical release in the UK.
Entertainment Film, it’s UK distributors, have issued an email to confirm that we will be seeing the horror-comedy in cinemas.
‘We would like to assure everyone that Piranha 3DD will not be going straight to DVD in the U.K. as mistakenly reported. We will be giving Piranha 3DD a full theatrical release and the film will not be released on DVD until the usual window post U.K. theatrical release.
PIRANHA 3DD is directed by John Gulager and features an appearence from David Hasselhoff. It will be released in cinemas in 2012.
