There’s a new CHRONICLE trailer been released by 20th Century Fox and although it’s basically the same as the original teaser, there are a few editorial tweaks and additional soundbites. In theory this looks like an intriguing mix of low budget trickery in the vein of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY but we’re hoping this doesn’t get over-hyped over the next month or two leading to its official release.
For those who don’t know, CHRONICLE follows three American high school friends that gain superpowers through some unexplained – as yet! – source. Soon enough, though, they find their lives turning to chaos as the darker side of their powers begin to take hold. Here’s your trailer:
CHRONICLE is written by Max Landis and directed by Josh Trank. It stars Dane Dehaan (TRUE BLOOD), Michael B Jordan (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS) and Michael Kelly (CHANGELING) and Alex Russell and is set for a February/March release in the UK.
