It is nearly the big day in the film world but today at 13:30 GMT we get a little closer as the nominations for the 2012 OSCARS are announced by Jennifer Lawrence, star of the up-coming THE HUNGER GAMES in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony is all set to take place on February 26 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and is hosted by the ever-reliable Billy Crystal. Crystal first hosted the Oscars in 1990 and was a late replacement this year after Eddie Murphy was originally tipped to take the job.
It is always interesting to see surprise nominations but we think the Golden Globes is a good indication this year to where the big ones may head. Now, those predictions for the big three and also click on the linked films for our review and just below, the LIVE stream to the presentation.
