Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg Ready For The World’s End

The final instalment of the ‘Cornetto Trilogy’ looks to be under way as writer/director Edgar Wright and writer/star Simon Pegg begin work on THE WORLD’S END. Wright sent a cheeky photograph via his twitter account showing just how much work the two are putting in. Fans of the hilariously-demented SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ will no doubt be very keen to see just what is in-store for the loveable twosome of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, this time around:

After battling bloodthirsty zombies and the sinister inhabitants of a small village in the previous films could this latest title hint at a homage to the epic disaster movie genre? Only time will tell, but I am sure like myself, you’re all waiting with baited breath. Get a move on guys!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
