James McTeigue’s THE RAVEN has given us another rather impressive poster for its forthcoming release on the 9th March 2012 in the UK. There were rumours of a slight delay but it seems that isn’t too far away now after all. The date changes can always seem a little ominous for any movie but in fairness, it appears that a few films have been shuffled around in the past few weeks, we think this may be down to the Oscars, BAFTA’s and awards season.
Moving on, THE RAVEN stars John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe and features serial killer on the loose in 1849. The killings being to emulate Poe’s work and then, as the tagline goes, The only man who can stop a serial killer, is the one who inspired him. The screenplay is co-written by Ben Livingston and Hannah Shakespeare and it also stars Luke Evans (CLASH OF THE TITANS) and Alice Eve. Here’s that poster:
