In recent years, the Screen Actors Guild Awards has been a rather interesting guide to what happens at the OSCARS and so this the 18th Annual ceremony is anything to go by, there could still be a lot of surprises in store for the evening of February 26th in Hollywood, lets’ hope so!
Top honours went to star of THE ARTIST Jean Dujardin for Best Actor and Viola Davis for Best Female Actor in awards-surprise THE HELP, who took home the big awards including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast. Legendary actor Christopher Plummer took home best supporting actor for his role in BEGINNERS and THE HELP actress Octavia Spencer grabbed the best supporting actress award.
Alec Baldwin was named Best Male Actor in a Comedy Role for 30 ROCK with the awesome Betty White taking the female award for HOT IN CLEVELAND. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Mary Tyler Moore for her outstanding contributions to television and film.
