Although it’s not released until October 14th in the UK this year, we have a new still from Affleck’s new project, ARGO. Set in 1979 during the Iranian revolution that’s on the edge of boiling point, a CIA specialist comes up with a very risky plan to free six Americans who have taken refuge at the home of the Canadian ambassador in Tehran. Ben Affleck hasn’t always had the best response to his acting but is proving a very steady hand in the world of direction. So far GONE BABY GONE and THE TOWN have received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
The screenplay is by Chris Terrio with his first major film and it also stars Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Kerry Bishe, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall and Victor Garber. Here’s that still:
