Clint Eastwood’s return to the big-screen in the baseball drama TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE has already cast Amy Adams and Matthew Lillard. Now it appears THE SOCIAL NETWORK and IN TIME superstar Justin Timberlake will join the sports drama that sees the former DIRTY HARRY legend play an ageing baseball scout.
Timberlake will star as a former player Johnny Flanagan, a friend to Eastwood’s character who ultimately falls for his daughter, in the directorial debut of Robert Lorenz. The plot surrounds Eastwood’s ailing scout, who decides to take his daughter (played by Adams) on a road trip to complete his final player recruitment. The film will be adapted from a script by Randy Brown.
