Sharon Stone is set to return to the sexual thriller genre that turned her into a household name, by taking on the lead role in ATTACHMENT; a new film to be directed by Tony Kaye (AMERICAN HISTORY X, DETACHMENT).
The story – written by screenwriter Christopher Denham – follows a married woman (Stone) whose life begins to deteriorate after she cheats on her husband with a student. The young man in question begins dating her daughter, and develops an obsession with her family, which threatens to tear them apart.
The script for ATTACHMENT will be on show at Berlin’s European Film Market next week, and is scheduled to begin filming in April.
