This Sunday sees the release of Marvel Comic’s prelude to THE AVENGERS, ‘Fury’s Big Week’. The series’ first issue will be available on the Marvel Comic’s app absolutely free! The release is set to coincide with a special commercial for THE AVENGERS which will screen during the Super Bowl.
The eight-part series will explore some of the big questions surrounding the movie (though don’t neccesarily expect answers) – What is The Avengers Initiative? Who exactly is Nick Fury? How does Thor keep his hair so shiny?
Marvel’s Editor in Chief Axel Alonso says:
‘We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Marvel Studios to create an exciting story set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that sets the stage perfectly for the most anticipated film of the summer. Now, for the first time. you’ll find out just what happened to some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on the road to Marvel’s THE AVENGERS.
Subsequent issues of ‘Marvel’s The Avengers Prelude: Fury’s Big Week’ will be available every Tuesdaybeginning 14th February and will cost 99 cents each.
THE AVENGERS arrives in cinemas May 2012.
