The Dictator Super Bowl Spot

THE DICTATOR will probably be one of the most controversial films of this year. Here is a first look at the newly released Super Bowl spot for the film.

Starting out the 30-second spot with images of notorious now-dead dictators, including Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi and Kim Jong Il, the clip is intersected with Sacha Baron Cohen’s dictator character saying, ‘Hey America, I just bought NBC. I know the final score. Enjoy the game.’

The clip continues with already available footage from the original trailer, which includes a bedroom rendezvous with Megan Fox and a shootout on the track field.

Though many of the teasers for the trailers that will air during the Super Bowl have been released, including JOHN CARTER, THE AVENGERS and G.I. JOE 2: RETALIATION, none have come across as strong as Cohen’s new alter ego, THE DICTATOR.

From director Larry Charles, who collaborated with Cohen on BORAT and BRUNO, THE DICTATOR tells the story of an evil ruler from a fictional third-world country who is exiled to the U.S. The film is inspired by the novel ‘Zabibah and The King’ by Saddam Hussein.

Released in May this year, the Cohen co-written comedy is sure to shock and entertain the audiences.
