Entertainment Weekly has compiled a list of the 25 forthcoming releases they are most looking forward to seeing. Furthermore, new images have been released from several films on the list, and are now available for your viewing pleasure.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER – Benjamin Walker plays the titular role here, in a film that sees a fictionalised Lincoln seeking revenge on all kinds of supernatural beings, after his mother is killed by an otherworldly creature.
MIRROR MIRROR – Lily Collins and Julia Roberts star in this new version of the old Snow White fairytale.
PROMETHEUS – This science fiction story is directed by Ridley Scott, and stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, and Michael Fassbender. It follows a group of explorers as they investigate the origins of human existence in the darkest corners of the solar system.
JOHN CARTER – Taylor Kitsch (John Carter) escapes his oversized barbarian captors on Mars, then sets out to save a princess. Despite this awful sounding premise, JOHN CARTER does boast a hugely impressive supporting cast, including Bryan Cranston, James Purefoy, Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Dominic West, Samantha Morton, Polly Walker, Thomas Haden Church, and Ciarán Hinds.
SKYFALL – Daniel Craig, Helen McCrory, and Javier Bardem star in the 23rd instalment of the James Bond franchise. Sam Mendes takes the helm for this adventure, in which Bond’s loyalty to M is put to the test, and MI6 is subject to attack.
