Dominic Burns’ Horror ‘Airbourne,’ starring Mark Hamill, Gets A UK Distribution Deal

It’s congratulations to film director and indeed our mate Dominic Burns, who along with UK production company Black and Blue Films, have secured a UK distribution deal for their next film AIRBOURNE, which stars none other than Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.

The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter this Friday who state that Chelsea Films, a division of Curzon Artificial Eye group, have snapped up the flick at the EFM in Berlin.

The film also stars Gemma Atkinson, Julian Glover, Alan Ford (SNATCH), Billy Murray (RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER), Simon Phillips (JACK FALLS) and Andrew Shimm (THIS IS ENGLAND ’88). It is produced by Simon Phillips and Jonathan Sothcott.

The movie details the story of an airplane at a remote airport caught in a really bad storm that gets the last take-off clearance of the day. A terrorist plot to take them hostage is the least of the passengers’ problems after an ancient evil in the hold awakens and stalks the plane, picking people off one by one.

Looks like Chelsea plan to release the film this year. Can’t wait!
