HBO’s successful series GAME OF THRONES is set to start a new season on 1st April, but for those of us that just can’t wait they’ve released 17 photos to keep us all satisfied for the next two months.
The collection features some of the newly anticipated characters including Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) Melisandre (Candice van Houten) and Davos (Liam Cunningham) as well as a host of images of returning characters such as Daenerys, Cersei and Jon Snow.
Season two gets under way with the North rocked after the devastating execution of Ned (Sean Bean) whilst the merciless clutch of the Lannister family suffocates the South. Reborn Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) lies across the Narrow Sea and is forced to re-establish her army, with the true heir to the Iron Throne Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) bestirring Dragonstone, the island fortress.
