As the most anticipated evening in the filmic calendar approaches, Mondo have revealed two of their four limited edition prints of their favourite nominees, Martin Scorsese’s HUGO, and Gore Verbinski’s RANGO. There will be four posters in total, from as many different categories, but the others are yet to be announced.
Mondo are partnered with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and are responsible for archiving all prints for their research library; these rare gems, as well as some variants on the original designs, will go on sale during the Academy Awards ceremony (26th February).
Hugo: 24″ x 36″ – A minimalistic design, but a soothing sight to behold.
Rango: 18″ x 24″ – A pastel paradise!
