It seems Rob Pattinson likes playing a much older character; he played a 100 year old in TWILIGHT (2008) and now here he is starring in BEL AMI set in 1890s Paris.
The period drama sees Pattinson play the character of George Duroy, a penniless ex-soldier, as the film chronicles his rise to power through his manipulation of the city’s most influential and wealthy women, played by the likes of Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, and Kristin Scott Thomas.
BEL AMI is directed by Declan Donnellan and Nick Omerod and the screenplay is written by Rachel Benette. It is set to be released in UK cinemas on 9 March.
