First Trailer And Poster For Delicacy With Audrey Tautou

Every now and then a movie comes along with a true feel-good atmosphere and we have a feeling DELICACY is one of them.

After having catapulted to international stardom with the charming and quirky film AMELIE, Audrey Tautou has been on the radar as one of the best French actresses of her generation. Her newest film DELICACY is sure to be another hit.

“Audrey Tautou is Nathalie, a beautiful, happy, and successful Parisian business executive who finds herself suddenly widowed after a three-year marriage to her soul mate. To cope with her loss, she buries herself and her emotions in her work to the dismay of her friends, family and co-workers. One day, inexplicably, her zest for life and love is rekindled by a most unlikely source, her seemingly unexceptional, gauche, and average looking office subordinate, Markus (French comic star Francois Damiens, Heartbreaker). At first stunned by Nathalie’s unexpected attention, Markus comes to gradually believe in her feelings and shifts into romantic high gear. As their relationship goes from awkward to genuinely loving, Nathalie and Markus will have to overcome a host of obstacles including everyone else’s judgmental perceptions as well as their own self-doubts.”

Released as LA DELICATESSE in France at the end of last year, it is now making it’s way over and will be released in the UK, as DELICACY, on the 13th April. Based on the 2009 best-selling novel, it is the directorial debut of David and Stephane Foenkinos. Keeping it in the family, the film was scripted by David as well.
