Lionsgate have released a new image of their upcoming thriller, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS ahead of its awaited release on 13th April.
The image was released through the film’s official facebook page and features the likes of Chris Hemsworth in his role as Curt Vaughan, the cool and collected boss among a circle of friends. Following similar plots, the movie shadows the five buddies as they venture off the grid to a cabin in the woods and find themselves at the mercy of its chilling inhabitants. However, unlike its spooky predecessors it looks like there could be a less supernatural explanation for what’s going on.
Directed by Drew Goddard (CLOVERFIELD) and written by Joss Whedon (THE AVENGERS) the end product seems as though it may bring something a little different to the table of the traditional white knuckle escapades of the young, lost and in danger.
THE CABIN IN THE WOODS also stars Anna Hutchinson, Kristen Connolly, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins.
