Here’s a look at the brand new film poster for Wes Anderson’s new project MOONRISE KINGDOM.
Although not much is known about the plot, the film focuses on Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman as Suzy and Sam, two young lovers who run away from their New England home. However, hot on their tail is the Sheriff Captain Sharp (played by Bruce Willis) and Suzy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bishop (Bill Murray and Frances McDormand). Also starring in this intriguing creation are Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Bob Balaban and Harvey Keitel!
The film’s set in the 1960s, which is obviously reflected in the highly-stylised poster – very much in keeping with Anderson’s wacky imagination.
This will be Anderson and Murray’s 6th collaboration, while with Schwartzman it’ll be their 4th. It’s set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on 16th May, 2012.
MOONRISE KINGDOM is programmed for release in US cinemas from 25th May, 2012.
