We know that many of you are huge fans of Marvel and are counting down the minutes until the new film is released – so to whet your appetite even more, take a look at these new character posters released for AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!
Directed by Joss Whedon (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS), AVENGERS ASSEMBLE (or THE AVENGERS if you live overseas) focuses on Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) attempt of assembling a group of superheroes to fight against a new threat, risking the safety of the planet. Many fans will already know the ins-and-outs of who’s playing who, but if you don’t then read on.
Robert Downey Jr. stars as Iron Man/Tony Stark, Chris Evans as Captain America/Steve Rogers, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Dr. Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye/Clint Barton and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Stan Lee – the co-creator of the original Avengers series – will also make a cameo appearance.
This is sure to be the biggest film of the year, so book your tickets early!
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE is set for release from 4th May, 2012 (only 52 days to go).
