The release dates for three upcoming blockbusters have been revealed and they seem too far into the future to be real!
ONE SHOT, the Werner Herzog action-thriller novel adaptation starring Tom Cruise, Robert Duvall and Rosamund Pike has been moved from a programmed release date of 8th February 2013 to 21st December 2012. This is a risky move as it is rumoured that Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED will be released around the same time. This will very much be the battle of the directors!
Second up is WORLD WAR Z, another book adaptation starring Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox and Anthony Mackie. Pitt stars as a government employee who is sent across the world to help stop the pandemic spread of a killer virus, turning innocent victims into zombies. The release of WORLD WAR Z has been pushed back to 21st June 2013.
Lastly, the newest live-action version of the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES has been given a release date of 25th December 2013. Although no cast or plot details are available, we know that the writers of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL – Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec – are behind the story.
Make sure to scribble these dates on your calender to not miss out (if your calender will go as far as next Christmas…)
