The old saying ‘like buses, you wait for one and two come along at once‘ could not be more apt, this year in the film world. When you consider that we have two Snow White features in MIRROR MIRROR and SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN as well as two films surrounding the life of former porn actress Linda Lovelace with INFERNO and LOVELACE. That’s also not forgetting, the currently in production Hitchcock biopics ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO and THE GIRL.
News, this morning comes from the latter double, as THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and THE A-TEAM stunner Jessica Biel will appear alongside the already cast Anthony Hopkins, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren and James D’Arcy as the actress Vera Miles in the Sacha Gervasi directed ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO.
We also have the first image from the BBC produced film THE GIRL, that will focus on Hitchcock’s reported obsession with his star actress Tippi Hedren. Hedren played the female lead in the iconic directors hit thrillers, THE BIRDS and MARNIE. THE GIRL is being helmed by acclaimed director Julian Jarrold and stars Toby Jones and Sienna Miller.
