Ray Liotta joins the ever growing cast of mob drama Cogan’s Trade

Another ‘Goodfella’ has joined the cast of the Brad Pitt starring mob thriller Cogan’s Trade, so says The Hollywood Reporter. The trade says that Ray Liotta will also star in the film, alongside Pitt, James Gandolfini and the earlier reported casting addition Vincent Curatola. Sam Rockwell and Richard Jenkins also star in the Andrew Dominik film.

The film sees Pitt assume the title role of Jackie Cogan, a hit man’s point person who becomes involved in the investigation of a heist against the mob that takes place during a high-stakes poker game.

It is reported that Liotta may be playing Mark “Markie” Trattman, the man responsible for setting up and running the poker game.

Shooting kicks off later this month in New Orleans.
