After Danish crime series THE KILLING was such a great big hit, it was inevitable that someone else would have a bash at it. That somebody else was AMC, the network that brings us MAD MEN and BREAKING BAD. The first season drew mostly praise (coupled with plenty of “it’s not as good as the original”), though towards the end of its run accusations were made of dragging out the ending. However, promises have been made (by star Mireille Enos) that the show’s central mystery will be solved by the end of season 2, so hopefully AMC will be able to drag audiences back in front of their TVs to watch, grumbling that the ending had better be good all the way through.
