First Trailer For Jenna Fischer In ‘The Giant Mechanical Man’

THE GIANT MECHANICAL MAN is the directorial debut for Lee Kirk and stars Jenna Fischer, a lady who you’d probably know best as Pam Beesley, the receptionist in THE OFFICE US. There’s a lot of indie comedy-drama that come through the great film machine but there’s a fine line between average and entertainingly quirky and happily, from this trailer, this one looks to be the latter.

Billed as a romantic-comedy, THE GIANT MECHANICAL MAN stars aforementioned Fischer as Janice, a zoo worker who falls for silver-sprayed street performer Tim who is played by Chris Messina (VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA, GREENBERG.) However, Janice’s sister Jill (Malin Ackerman) sets up Janice to start dating self-obsessed motivational speaker Doug (Topher Grace). In that similar vein of self-discovery indie movies, this still looks original and worth a second look:

THE GIANT MECHANICAL MAN opens on April 27th.
