Following on from last week’s creepy poster debut, Eduardo Sanchez’ psychological-horror LOVELY MOLLY has very intense new trailer. The film, helmed by THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT co-director Sanchez, has that groundbreaking feature’s trademark fingerprints all over this film from the look of this trailer.
Making her acting debut as the troubled, aforementioned title character is Gretchen Lodge, who looks destined for big things. Joining her will be DROP DEAD GORGEOUS scene-stealer Alexandra Holden, Johnny Lewis, Daniel Ross, Katie Foster and Ken Arnold. Sanchez also co-wrote LOVELY MOLLY alongside Jamie Nash.
The film currently has no release date scheduled for the UK but will be in US cinemas 18th May.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
