It seems that Mr Gosling can’t help himself and has saved yet another person from a violent end (remember this?) – this time saving them from a speeding taxi.
It has been reported that he managed to push Laurie Penny, British journalist for such newspapers as The Guardian and The Independent, out of the path of a taxi as she was about to step in front of it.
Penny immediately took to Twitter to publish her ordeal saying, ‘I literally, LITERALLY, just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened. I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”
Penny blames her near-accident on the fact that she is from London and American traffic is in a different lane.
As he whisked himself away, Penny had to ask passers-by if her hero was indeed Gosling. However, his publicist has not made a comment (yet…)
I think I’ll be buying a ticket to New York pretty soon and trying to throw myself in front of taxis on 6th Avenue. Also, I wonder if Gosling has his own bat signal?
