David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT, TWILIGHT: ECLIPSE) has been attached to direct since 20th Century Fox first announced their intentions to reboot the franchise but he seems to have gone off the idea a bit. Writing on his twitter account he had this to say:
‘Daredevil’ update is that there is no real ‘Daredevil’ update. We all want to make it but it’s going slow, and details are too boring to print.
Indeed he’s been working on the forthcoming HANNIBAL TV series, the pilot of which he’ll direct.
So it looks like we’re stuck with the dreadful Ben Affleck DAREDEVIL for the time-being. Ah well it could be worse, they could be working on a sequel!
