I really like the sound of this. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Douglas is in talks to join the cast of the ensemble comedy LAST VEGAS. The flick is written by Dan Fogelman (CRAZY STUPID LOVE) and will be directed by Jon Turtletaub. It revolves, according to the trade on a ‘quartet of retired boomers who are called upon for a Las Vegas bachelor party by their friend, a ladies man who is finally settling down and marrying a woman half his age.’
Douglas is playing said retiring ladies man who is marrying a girl half his age (who’d have thought of Douglas for this), while two of the other actors said to be involved are Dustin Hoffman and Christopher Walken, though neither are officially confirmed. All that we’d need then is one final big name veteran, which would have to be De Niro or Pacino (wouldn’t it), to round out the four old boys on the lash…
Shooting kicks off in Las Vegas later in the year.
