Yesterday I was sent a brand new video from our friends over in the US and Universal Studios Hollywood, who have revealed some brand new footage from their new ride TRANSFORMERS THE RIDE, which opens in the Californian park on 25th May.
The thrill ride will tell a new “TRANSFORMERS” story using original, photo-realistic 3D-HD media, sophisticated special effects masterminded by Industrial Light & Magic, and one of the most elaborate roaming flight simulator ride systems ever created.
Fusing high-tech elements with an epic new “TRANSFORMERS” tale, “Transformers: The Ride–3D” will be Universal Studios Hollywood’s most ambitious ride ever created and will set a new standard in the world of theme park attractions, stretching the medium’s potential as an immersive and powerful storytelling vehicle.
This new video shows off animation for the ride, and you can check it all out below… and look out for Peter Jackson on KING KONG 360 -3D, the Kong based ride, which is already open at the park — and boy does this look awesome too! I really, really want to go see and experience this!!
I’ll add that that all of The Hollywood News boys and girls are available to visit should the opportunity arise Universal people!!!
