With a predicted release date of December, LES MISERABLES’ advertising campaign has kicked in – starting off with a teaser poster for the film.
Although pretty simple in design, the poster shows off the solid cast members involved in the Tom Hooper-directed (THE KING’S SPEECH) musical. The preview has come courtesy of CinemaCon, a convention in Las Vegas which invites cinema owners to visit, in order to show off this years future releases and hopefully reel in some custom.
Hugh Jackman stars as Jean Valjean, on the run from prison and trying to escape the clutches of policeman Javert (Russell Crowe). Valjean meets Fantine (Anne Hathaway) and after agreeing to look after her young daughter, his life changes forever.
With some wonderful talent involved in the film and 8 months to go until its release, I’m sure this isn’t going to be the last promotional article we feature for the film!
LES MISERABLES, directed by Tom Hooper, is set for release from 14th December, 2012.
