Having blasted into the acting stratosphere starring in THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO (2011), Rooney Mara has just added another role to her line-up for the next year or two. It’s been reported that she is to star alongside Casey Affleck and Ben Foster in David Lowery’s new project AIN’T THEM BODIES SAINTS.
Lowery is currently writing and will direct the film, which has had very little released about it – the only thing we know so far is that it’s a modern day Bonnie-and-Clyde drama.
Mara’s next projects include THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE, THE BITTER PILL, a currently untitled Terence Malick project and BROOKLYN, which’ll be directed by Spike Jonze. Affleck is currently filming KILLING THEM SOFTLY, PARANORMAN and THE KIND ONE, whereas Foster has already starred in CONTRABAND and has YELLOW and 360 yet to be released.
Lowery’s project could be a stunner, especially with such an impressive initial line-up. It’ll be exciting to see who else signs on!

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
