JUAN OF THE DEAD, directed by Alejandro Brugués, focuses on Juan (Alexis Díaz de Villegas), who decides to take on a village full of zombies after discovering that he has a talent for slaughtering the undead. Along with a group of friends, Juan goes into the slaying business – and hilarity ensues!
Focus Features has launched their new digital distribution division Focus World, and the new initiative will release this ‘zom-com’ through iVOD and VOD, as well as other formats. The film is a co-production between Spain, Cuba and Mexico, showing that modern day off-Hollywood comedies can be very funny (and possibly very successful!)
