Viola Davis And Maggie Gyllenhaal ‘Won’t Back Down’ In New Trailer

With the experience of being mothers themselves, Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal give very believable performances in the new trailer for upcoming politically-motivated drama WON’T BACK DOWN.

Inspired by true events, Davis and Gyllenhaal star as two determined mothers who take on the task of improving the education system in their troubled neighbourhood. Spurned on by the love for their children, the pair battle against teachers, principals and even the local political leaders to prove that they ‘won’t back down’.

Ving Rhames (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE), Holly Hunter (THE INCREDIBLES) and Oscar Isaac (DRIVE) are just a handful of the stars featuring alongside Davis and Gyllenhaal, helping this cast list pack a punch. With both the ladies being award-nominated actresses, their performances in the film will be hard to ignore.

WON’T BACK DOWN, directed by Daniel Barnz, is set for a US release from 28th September, 2012.
