Rodrigo Cortes’ RED LIGHTS debuted at Sundance this year and is set in the world of psychics and mediums and focuses on two central characters who aim to expose them as frauds and tricksters. Cortes is best known for BURIED and with this supernatural-thriller, we will see a pair of debunkers, played by Sigourney Weaver and Cillian Murphy, who’s obsession with exposing legendary blind psychic Simon Silver (Robert De Niro) may just unearth some real unsavoury connection with the otherworld.
