The great Guillermo de Toro is only working on about 4 or 5 projects at the moment but not enough Guilly, as we like to call him, we want more! So, we got in touch and because he’s such a top bloke, we’ve been treated to some new images from his stop-motion version of PINOCCHIO, which will eventually feature the voices of Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Waits.
Although it won’t be shooting until 2013, some artwork has been released of what we can expect and once again, it’s surely going to look stunning. It’s also been announced that he’ll now be co-directing with Mark Gustafson who also worked as the animation director for FANTASTIC MR. FOX. Del Toro currently has PACIFIC RIM in post-production, BEAUTY AND THE BEST in pre-production, so we won’t be expecting PINOCCHIO until, at least, 2014.
