All-round train wreck (or should that be car wreck?) Lindsay Lohan is allegedly set to appear in Bret Easton Ellis-penned THE CANYONS. The AMERICAN PSYCHO author tweeted about Lohan’s involvement earlier this week:
‘Shooting THE CANYONS starring James Deen and Lindsay Lohan: July 9-31 in L.A. Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it…’
Lohan is set to play a woman ‘addicted to a materialist lifestyle’ so she may be pretty close to perfect. The MEAN GIRLS star will appear alongside porn actor James Deen. Deen holds the title of ‘Best Unsung Swordsman 2007’ and has appeared in over 2,000 adult films. He is set to play the boyfriend of Lohan’s character, described as ‘manipulative trust-fund kid with dreams of making a movie.’
THE CANYONS follows a group of twenty-somethings, presumably led by Lohan and Deen, and their criminal exploits. TAXI DRIVER scribe Paul Schrader is set to direct.
